Open Mic Night with John Hoban as MC

Every Thursday evening after dinner at Sailor’s Bar we hold an open mic night which John Hoban MC’s. John Hoban is a talented composer, singer, musicians and author from Castlebar and has travelled the world playing music. He brings friends, fellow writers and singers along to join in. All through the evening John invites anyone who has got a tune or song to sing along.

This is a night of songs, recitations and poems in a listening, intimate and interesting setting. In the tradition of Clare Island, where songs and recitations are enjoyed and highly valued.
